Workshops

Spend a fun day in a friendly and relaxing environment mastering a new skill.

The workshops are run from 10.00am to 4.00pm in a lovely bright schoolroom at Rectory Farm, Water Stratford Hill, Tingewick, Nr. Buckingham, Bucks, MK18 4PD. The building is completely accessible, all on one level and has plenty of parking in front of the building and has a lovely view across rolling hills.

Animal Pastel Workshops

Master animal pastel drawing. Discover new paper perfectly suited to animal pastel portraits and be liberated from the need to use fixatives. See how you can transfer an image quickly to paper and use a range of pastels to create your animal portrait. A selection of reference images are provided.

Cost for the one day workshop is £50This includes paper and refreshments.
You will need to bring your own pastels. Advice will be given about other materials needed.

Cost for the one day workshop is £60
This includes handmade paper, an A6 plastic plates, ink to print with and the tools you need to transfer the image to the plates.

Drypoint Printing Workshops

Discover the exciting art of drypoint printing. This is an intaglio printing method, similar to etching whereby you scratch an image into a plastic plate. During the workshop you will be guided on how to create your image on the plate, how to ink it up and print it. A selection of reference images will be provided.
